Director Snow R. Shai began research for the film during 2012. What he discovered was an amazing, vibrant & new wine culture, with rich history that spans centuries. Beautiful wine country, wrapped in talented winemakers who are ready to break new grounds. But he also found a maze of ancient rules & traditions that failed to progress.

As he spent more time with various winemakers, from harvest to harvest, it became clear that Israel wine culture is growing, evolving & needs a monumental change.
